Morison’s Story
“I feel I can achieve all of my goals for myself and my family.”
Morison is a father of two, dreaming of building a house for his family. As a single parent, for years he struggled to provide for his two children.
Becoming a MOPO Agent has been life-changing. Morison feels more respected within the community, has gained self- confidence and no longer feels dependent on other people to take care of his family. He takes great pride in being able to feed his children and be financially independent thanks to his MOPO earnings.
Morison talks about how the MOPO training he received through the partnership with World Hope International has “really helped [him] greatly” to realise the importance of savings and learning how to budget.
Morison started investing part of his Mobile Power earnings into a side business, which provides an additional income. With the money saved since becoming an Agent, he was able to buy land, bringing him one step closer to his dream of building a house for his children.
“I can take care of my two kids without having to borrow or ask someone for help. My wife left years ago because I couldn’t provide for the family, but look at me now, I can save and provide enough food for my kids. I am proud of myself!”
“It’s difficult to fight for food and shelter at the same time. I never imagined that I could create a tiny house for myself and my children, but now I’m considering it.”
