First MOPO Hubs in Chad

This weeks story comes from our Head of B2B, Remco van Stappershoef and the B2B team:

"Two weeks ago,  the first MOPO Hubs in Chad were commissioned! Exciting times, and it makes Chad the 7th country with MOPO Hubs.  Chad has around 18 million people, with an electrification rate of around 10%. 25% of the population live in urban areas, but still only there is about 30% electricity.

We're partnering with Batrica on this, a 'B2B customer'. We started this journey 2 years ago, patience is a virtue!

Santos Olok P’Ojok, (B2B Operations Manager) will be in Chad for the coming months to install in total 10 Hubs. Batrica is eager to scale up to 100 hubs in the next few years!

Launching in a new country also brought the headache of setting up the integration with Mobile Money. An intense period of trial and error and reconfiguration followed between Santos and the Software team. But also here, hard work, resilience, creativity and determination pulled off!"

Well done to all involved!
